In addition to in-house studio events, bahdeebahdu has hosted arts organizations, the design trade, community groups, commercial vendors and private individuals as well. Always a hub for Philadelphia’s creative community, our unique 4,000 square foot space is likewise available to rent for special events.

On December 1st, bahdeebahdu will host a second annual fund-raiser, “InVest”, to benefit St. Mary’s Family Respite Center. The Center serves children and families affected by HIV/AIDS here in Philadelphia and is the only one of its kind in America. We are asking 100+ artists, fashion designers, and other creative people to create a “Vest” in any medium (wearable or not) to be exhibited and sold the night of the opening reception for $200.00 each. All sales proceeds will be donated to St. Mary’s to support its unique programs.

We look forward to having you participate and thank the scores of artists who last year made this benefit such a resounding success. We hope to welcome back many of them this year. We need and love the creative spirit, our beautiful children and our amazing community and we hope that you will share in this effort that will invest thousands of dollars into St. Mary’s wonderful programs.
