Mitch Gillette | Tales of the Buffoon

Mitch Gillette is the creator of the dark, comical world of Tales of the Buffoon, an original full-length graphic novel based on an age-old folktale. The hero, the inscrutable and iconic Buffoon, is a variation of the archetypal trickster. Ostensibly of the lowest social order, he finds himself the target of the self-interested machinations of all he encounters. But armed with artifice and guile, he inevitably turns the tables to expose their all-too human traits of deceitfulness, greed, cruelty, lust and stupidity.
Selected panels of Tales of the Buffoon are available at bahdeebahdu in limited edition archival pigment prints.
